Four quick study portraits in oil. These are my day two results from a 3-day workshop by Craig Nelson. The goal is to improve one’s painting skills by working fast and focusing primarily on value and form. This weekend is also my first time painting in oils. The first two paintings with the woman subject took 25 minutes each, and the two with the man took 45 minutes each.
